Once the chosen building has been committed to, we must turn to the process of actually making it all happen on site, executed by the contractor who offers the optimum blend of skills, experience, back-up, commitment and pricing.

In order for this to happen successfully, I will help and advise you on:

  • team formulation
  • Form of Contract (bearing in mind that D&B/ turnkey is not always the best, or most cost-effective, route)
  • initial evaluating of enquiries from interested parties
  • short listing candidates for fitout team
  • inviting proposals against a tight brief (ensuring like-for-like comparisons)
  • analysing and reporting-on, bids and proposals
  • chairing interviews with, and presentations from, fitout candidates
  • assist in selection of successful bidder

I will then ensure that:

  • the fitout runs according to plan, timescale and budgets
  • client-changes are incorporated without disproportionate cost or time impact
  • zero snagging is achieved
